Western Sass turned Southern Sweetheart

Melissa was born and raised in Arizona as a part of a large Italian family.  In 2016 she and her two sons moved to Lexington, SC to support her brothers' family while her nephew was undergoing a heart transplant at the Medical University of South Carolina.  It didn't take long for her time in and around the Charleston area to create a love and appreciation for the rich culture and unique character that the South Carolina Lowcountry has to offer.  Long walks on the beautiful beaches of the Carolina coast gave way to the picturesque sunsets of Lake Murray as she and her family eventually settled into their quiet lakeside retreat in Chapin, SC.

While in Arizona, Melissa obtained her bachelor's degree in business management paved the way for a successful career in various management positions across multiple disciplines of the construction industry.  With experience in roles ranging from Site Superintendent to Managing partner, she gained invaluable knowledge of the inner workings of the construction industry which she uses to make sure her clients can make informed decisions throughout the building or purchase process.

Communication skills, organization, time management, and rock-solid reliability are just some of the traits that have allowed Melissa to survive and thrive as the "mom in charge" of a chaotic house of 7.  When she is not out enjoying choir and softball games with her 2 girls or out on the lake with her 2 boys, she is helping her husband run their residential HVAC and home inspection business.  The experience she has gained from her hands-on experience in the home inspection and remodeling industry will help to give her clients a unique and informed perspective.

Melissa's personal life situations and professional experiences have given her a wealth of knowledge in not only proper construction practices but also allowed her to develop the outstanding communication skills necessary to make every step of your home buying process smooth and painless.
